Corrigan Sports prides itself in the great charitable work that its events brings to the Charm City. Each year the Baltimore 10-Miler is able to make donations and help charitable organizations earn money from their cause by using the event as a fundraising and awareness platform. The organizations below have been officially recognized by the CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Baltimore 10-Miler as charity partners for the upcoming event.
Please consider Running for a Cause and making each step you take during your tour of Charm City worth that much more to the lives of those in need. If you are interested in being a charity partner please email our charity coordinator, Kimber Raheb at kimber@corrigansports.com.
Athletes Serving Athletes (ASA) is a non-profit organization that brings people together to experience the joy, excitement, and thrill of competition. ASA offers innovative athletic training, supportive mentor relationships, and high quality endurance events for athletes living with disabilities. ASA uses athletic activity as a catalyst for personal development—improving physical fitness, increasing self-esteem and empowering challenged youth to meet their highest potential. We inspire all people to give of themselves and live more active lifestyles, pursuing a high quality of life and achievement. Our WINGMAN Program is specifically designed to empower ASA athletes living with little to no mobility, but whose hearts hold the desire to race in mainstream running events, the opportunity to compete. Each of these ASA athletes is supported by his or her own unique WingMan Team. We look to volunteers to raise money and awareness for Athletes Serving Athletes serving as a WingMan or a member of the ASA Road Crew which does not physically “push” an athlete. Please contact us at info@athletesservingathletes.org with any questions.

Our mission is to sustainably provide high quality surgical procedures, medical treatment, dental care, and educational support in under resourced areas worldwide. We establish strong in-country partnerships to involve local communities in our activities: treating patients, improving health care infrastructure, and providing needed medical training to surgeons, doctors, and community health care workers.Going beyond providing direct patient care, we aim to create a long-term impact, empowering impoverished countries to improve the health and quality of life of their own people.

The Baltimore 10 Miler will once again benefit The Signal 13 Foundation and the zoo. The Signal 13 Foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance to Baltimore Police Department personnel, both civilian and sworn, who unexpectedly suffer extreme personal emergencies. “The Baltimore 10 Miler is a flagship event for the Foundation,” said Greg Devou, Signal 13 Board President. “Not only is it a great opportunity to raise funds, but the public awareness generated thru officers also running in the event is immeasurable. We are excited about the elevated status of the event and proud to partner with Corrigan Sports Enterprises.”
